Rebecca – Vic
Rebecca is passionate about the role of youth in climate conversations and the connection between the environment and wellbeing. She has enjoyed fostering the voices of young people through programs and consultations as a United Nations Youth Australia facilitator and welfare officer. With a love for the sciences, Rebecca is a Monash University Science peer mentor and Biological Society general representative.
Studying a Bachelor of Science/Global Studies at Monash University in Victoria integrating the disciplines of ecology and international studies, Rebecca aspires to address the complexity of global challenges through local connections and communal action. Dr Jane’s message of hope, that there is a window of time for us to reverse environmental degradation, resonates strongly with Rebecca.
Excited to be part of a team that supports youth in discovering how they can make a difference through everyday choices, Rebecca hopes to grow her capacity to enact positive change.
