Jess – VIC
Jess is passionate about conserving our environment, so it’s no surprise she has worked as a zoo educator, teaching young people around Australia about the importance of protecting our endangered ecosystems. From bridled nailtail wallabies to spotted quolls, acropera corals to primary rainforest, Jess’s research spans far and wide. However, Jess’s greatest passion is communicating science to the public, creating narratives that resonate via the use of creative mediums like art, graphic design and story telling. Jess has recently joined the Queensland Government as a Graduate Policy Officer.
Jess is passionate about cultivating leadership qualities and helping others reach their potential. She is thrilled to be working closely with the NYLC to develop habitat workshops, educational resources and a youth newsletter.
