Jade – Vic
Jade is from the Mornington Peninsula, VIC and is currently studying a Bachelor of Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Deakin University. She grew up living in a housing refuge that her parents operate for homeless young people. This exposed Jade to the injustice within our communities, and has since fueled her drive to create positive change for people, animals and the environment.
Jade loves spending time with her pets, going on bushwalks, camping, and spending time at the beach. She works in peer support at Headspace and is extremely passionate about youth mental health.
Jade is delighted to be a part of the 2019- 2020 National Youth Leadership Council and is keen to explore her skills, and champion the conservation of endangered species. She hopes to combine her love for people and animals to inspire change.
