Ella – VIC
I completed a Bachelor of Arts/ Science at Monash University in 2017, majoring in Zoology and Literature, and I’ve started my honours in Zoology this year. I’m passionate about wildlife conservation, and preserving our beautiful biodiversity before its too late. I think effective science communication is a crucial part of this, in order to engage people in dialogue about the importance of our environment.
I’m excited to be a part of the NYLC and contribute to the great work of the Jane Goodall institute and Roots & Shoots. I’m especially looking forward to meeting other young people who are passionate about conservation, and empowering each other to become leaders within our communities and influence change.
I’m also very passionate about encouraging women in STEMM, and am proud to be part of an organisation started by a woman as extraordinary as Dr Jane Goodall, who is a role model for young girls around the world.
