Becky – NSW
Becky has been passionate about the welfare of animals for as long as she can remember. She is currently completing an internship before pursuing a Masters in Landscape Architecture andhopes to one day help foster design solutions that will allow wildlife to survive and flourish as humans encroach on their habitat.
At university she was the co-president of Animal Voices, where she helped facilitate events to promote animal welfare. She completed part of her degree in Northern Ireland and has participated in international projects through Helpx.net ranging from an eco-school in Bulgaria to an animal sanctuary in Thailand. She abstains from the use of animal products.
Becky is excited for the opportunity to serve on the NYLC for Dr Jane’s Roots and Shoots program. She hopes that through her creative and determined mindset that she will be able to inspire and facilitate others to engage with their communities to make positive changes for the environment and animals.
