The Jane Goodall Institute Australia believes in engaging the voice of women and girls in our conservation projects in Central Africa. A R&S member from Victoria initiated a campaign to raise awareness for girls in Uganda to support the JGI Peer to Peer girls education program. The aim is to raise $8000 to support 80 Ugandan girls throughout their secondary schooling. She created and distributed flyers educating Australian youth about young girls in Uganda and the peer to peer education program. So far $3530 has been raised.
