Our Roots & Shoots group for Keeping Randwick’s Trees got together to prepare Tree Talisman’s for Peace for some of our threatened urban trees.
They placed the Talisman’s on Hills Weeping Fig trees that have been approved for removal for a Light Rail project in Sydney’s suburbs. They are just some of the hundreds of trees marked for removal. The members are asking for a Light Rail that builds around the trees instead, in peace & harmony with our environment.
