Roots & Shoots group participated in a campaign to generate 1000 Official Ranger’s Allies to raise $1000 each to help Protect Nature’s Protectors. 100 rangers per year on average lose their life – many have little or no support to do their dangerous work in protecting nature. They raised funds by dog washing to go towards more anti poaching training, more first aid training & equipping, more patrol gear for our rangers on the front-lines, along with supporting families who suffer the loss of a ranger loved one. Everyone who participated got an Official Rangers Ally badge.
